The wreckers, as most of the driving public know, are considered a nuisance, particularly as they make up laws and regulations on the fly as to where and when parking is legal, referring specifically to parts of the cities where there are no ‘No Parking’ or any other signs stating that parking is either regulated or not allowed.
When confronted with this knowledge, they make up even newer ‘laws’ or excuses to justify their cause, purpose and presence. Oh, and at the very least, they chuckle at pictorial or other proof you may have to justify your case. Much like the (I am sure at times) laughable tint laws that are still in place, proper regulations need to be place in situations like this, whereby if a car is parked in an area with no signage alluding to issues about parking, that cars are not illegally wrecked.
Citing a recent quote:
“We are not advocating that cars be allowed to park anywhere and everywhere, absolutely not, but the public is being deceived due to the lack of signage. It is intentionally left without the sign, in hope that you be entrapped. If you saw a sign that said you would be towed if you are parked in this zone, then you would not park your car there.”—Gregory Aboud, Doma president
